Harvest Calendar
Unlike many farmers markets, Delivered Fresh is open year round! But even though our farmers use heated greenhouses to extend the growing season, certain items will only be available during portions of the year.
Our meat selection, dairy products and baked goods are always in stock. And don’t forget about our all-natural soaps, lotions, and apothecary items.
Spring
As the weather begins to warm after our northeast winters, we look forward to the first picking of asparagus, strawberries, spinach and leafy greens from our greenhouses.
Summer
Summer is all about grilling! Italian sausage, incredible steaks and all sorts of chicken are just waiting to make that backyard barbeque the best ever. Vine ripe tomatoes, eggplants and the sweetest corn you ever had all share the spotlight during those summer days.
Fall
It’s more than just pumpkins in the Fall. Beautiful butternut squash, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage make that late harvest something to be excited for. We get crunchy apples and pears from the orchards right before those leaves start to turn.
Winter
It’s all about comfort foods in the winter. A pot roast for the slow cooker, a turkey for the oven and lots of garlic mashed potatoes. Our soup makers work overtime so you have something to warm you up on those chilly days.
